Dermal Filler Treatments

At AJT Aesthetics I use Hyaluronic Acid based Dermal Fillers for all treatments.

Dermal Fillers can fill wrinkles and fine lines and add volume to different areas of the face, including lips, cheeks and around the eye area. These fillers have such effective results as they restore areas of the face that have lost volume through loss of collagen. Not only can Dermal Fillers be used to restore volume, they can also be used to add volume to parts of the face requested by you and are the perfect way to add subtle enhancements to the face.

I have various brands available and products vary in thickness, each being suited to specific areas on the face. All of the products I use are CE certified. I use both needle and cannula techniques for the best results.

During your consultation we’ll discuss your chosen treatment and desired look, then we can decide on the best product for you.

Numbing cream is applied first and the filler used contains Lidocaine, this is a pain relief ingredient that keeps clients more comfortable. Hyaluronic Acid based Dermal Fillers usually last 12-18 months however varies from person to person (lifestyle, metabolism etc). More than one treatment may be required to reach your desired look.

Lip Enhancement

Whether it’s a subtle enhancement to replace lost volume or plump out naturally thin lips or maybe you like the larger look and that high definition? I have various products available to get you the lips you’ve always wanted by injecting Dermal Fillers.

Nasolabial Lines (Nose to Mouth) and Marionette Lines (Mouth to Chin)

The downside to smiling or laughing! As the facial muscles move they crease the skin causing lines to appear at the side of the mouth. These lines get deeper and more noticeable with age. I can dramatically reduce the depth and soften these lines using Dermal Fillers for you.

Jaw Sculpting

A defined jawline can become one of your best features!

Sometimes clients can feel unhappy with a naturally weak jawline with very little shape or definition visible. Dermal Fillers are injected to add more structure here and this improves the side profile dramatically. One of the best treatments to promote a more youthful appearance! As we age, volume loss in the under eye area often leads to dark circles which make us look tired all of the time, even when we’re not! I can restore the lost volume to restore those fresh looking eyes!

This treatment involves a detailed process of applying a filler to the area under your eyes to rid you of any wrinkles or stress marks, whilst also adding volume in a tasteful manner and based specifically on your personal requirements. Not all clients are suitable for this treatment and I would need to assess each individual in person. 

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

If clients have a dorsal hump or an uneven shape that bothers them then this treatment can be used to smooth out lumps and make the nose appear straight. Obviously I can’t take anything away (that would require surgery) but once a nose is made straight it will often appear smaller. I can lift the tip of the nose too and lots of people love this look! As with any treatment, there is risk involved. Non-surgical rhinoplasty carries a greater risk than most which will be discussed thoroughly with you prior to treatment to enable you to make an informed decision. 

Dermal Filler Corrections

If you have had Dermal Filler previously elsewhere and are now unhappy with the results or your Lip Filler has started to migrate over time, do not be afraid to start over and have your Filler dissolved. After dissolving, a minimum period of two weeks is required before adding Filler to this area.

What is Botox?

Botox is a cosmetic form of Botulinum Toxin, a neurotoxin that is used to 'freeze' muscles. A Botox injection blocks the nerve signals to the muscle, which means that it cannot contract. Since these contractions are responsible for highlighting and deepening existing wrinkles, Botox injections serve to give your face a smoother, younger appearance.

Depending on the severity of your wrinkles and the surface area that you want to have treated, you may need more than one Botox session to achieve the desired results. I offer a free top up two weeks after treatment if needed.

Getting Botox injections is not only a great way to smooth out facial wrinkles, but it's also a simple way to prevent certain types of wrinkles from forming or deepening as well! Botox is not a permanent solution, but it slows the formation of any new lines appearing and usually lasts for three to six months, after which time it’s perfectly safe to repeat treatment.

Microneedling

Microneedling restores the healthy, youthful appearance of your skin by encouraging the skin’s natural collagen and elastin to regenerate. Microneedling can help with the following:

A minimum course of three treatments is recommended at 4-6 week intervals. Results can be seen 4 weeks following treatment.

Microneedling is suitable for all skin types although it should not be used whilst acne is still active and is not to be used whilst pregnant.
